Glory 100 is a kickboxing event held by Glory on June 14, 2025 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.[3]

Background

The card was initially planned as a two day event but was later changed to a single event.[4] Glory 100 will feature bouts in the Qualification Round for the 2025 Glory Last Heavyweight Standing tournament. Tarik Khbabez defends his Light Heavyweight title against former Light Heavyweight champion Sergej Maslobojev, Petpanomrung Kiatmuu9 defends his Featherweight title against Miguel Trindade, Donovan Wisse defends his title in a rematch against Michael Boapeah. Rico Verhoeven defends his Heavyweight title against former Light Heavyweight champion Artem Vakhitov in the main event.[5]

  1. Artem Vakhitov n'a pas réussi à battre le "roi du kickboxing", le poids lourd Rico Verhoeven, mais il a tenu la distance et son vainqueur a déclaré : "Il redeviendra champion des lourds-légers, 100%".

    Nous voilà donc probablement avec la prochaine tête d'affiche :
    Le nouveau champion du monde du Glory Sergej Maslobojev (10 années cumulées de règne) vs l'ancien champion du monde Artem Verhoeven (11 années cumulées de règne)

  2. Rico Verhoeven a fêté son 4012ème jour consécutif comme champion du Glory. Le seuil des 4000 a rarement été atteint quel que soit le sport de combat.

  3. Outre les championnats du monde Glory mis en jeu lors de cet événement extraordinaire (13ème défense victorieuse pour Rico Verhoeven, 6ème pour Donovan Wisse et 9ème pour Petpanomrung Kiatmuu9 dit "Petch"), de nombreux combats de poids lourds (tournois à quatre) ont eu lieu.

    Les vainqueurs s'affronteront en décembre. Les qualifiés sont :
    - Mory Kromah, Néerlandais originaire de Guinée (1m94, 104kg, 25 ans) aux coups de genoux volants redoutables ;
    - Tariq "Cookie" Osaro, Néerlanais originaire du Nigéria (1m98, 130kg, 29 ans) surpuissant ;
    - Nico Pereira Horta, Néerlandais originaire du Cap-Vert (1m98, 130kg, 33 ans) à la silhouette "enrobée" mais très solide ;
    - et Anis Bouzid, Belge originaire du Maroc (1m94, issu des 95kg, 30 ans), combattant technique.

    Le vainqueur de ce tournoi deviendra le légitime challenger du "roi du kickboxing" Rico Verhoeven (1m96, 120kg pour le Glory 100, 36 ans) en 2026.
