While Artem Vakhitov put in a valiant effort against Rico Verhoeven at GLORY 100, his true return to the promotion comes on December 13. The former champion steps back into the light heavyweight division, looking to prove he’s still among the elite against a stacked line-up. He joins previously announced participants Miloš Cvjetićanin, Michael Boapeah, and Cem Cáceres.
With rumors resurfacing that Vakhitov was once again leaving the sport
to try his luck in MMA, fans can hope he’s now settled and ready to test
himself against a new field of contenders since his exodus from the
promotion in 2021. Based on recent form, Cvjetićanin, who is also
competing in the Last Heavyweight Standing, might be the favorite.
Still, Boapeah has looked flawless at light heavyweight, and 25-year-old
Cem Cáceres can’t be counted out either.
